The launch of The 3E Project: healthcare

Last weekend saw the launch of the new joint venture between International women's organisation, SIGBI and MCAI. The 3E Project: healthcare aims to raise £300,000 for our strengthening emergency care program in The Gambia and will make a huge impact on the lives on critically ill pregnant women, babies and children in a country where currently there are only five trained midwives for every thousand births.

After spending an entire weekend with so many enthusiastic and dedicated women we now know that if anyone can raise £300,000 it's the Soroptimist's!
