I've never been to Cameroon before so I wasn't sure what the landscape and people would be like....I loved it! Already inspired by our work in Bamenda, north west Cameroon..I have returned even more enthused. In particular the nurses and doctors are excellent, they work exceptionally hard. I was completely impressed.

In particular I was grateful to meet a little boy called Carlos (pictured below with his mother) who is being treated for Burkitt's lymphoma. He has had five doses of chemotherapy and his tumuor is receding. It was a pleasure to meet him and his mother was pleased that we could offer free treatment...which she would otherwise not been able to afford.
