Our strategy
Over the next five years we will be concentrating on the continued development and implementation of our Strengthening Emergency Care Programme (SEC). Our partnership working is key to this programme and we will continue to work closely with the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG) and in The Gambia with International Health Partners (IHP) through the Gambia Health Alliance.

We also aim to continue our monitoring, evaluation, quality control, knowledge sharing and advocacy as core policies.
As well as expanding the programme to reduce maternal and child mortality/morbidity across The Gambia, MCAI and ALSG will continue to provide quality control for the embedded programme in Pakistan. We plan to introduce the programme into other countries, particularly but not exclusively in sub-Saharan Africa.
At the same time, with ALSG, we will develop a consortium of NGOs each of who provide hands on emergency care to mothers, babies and/or children which includes trauma and anaesthesia in countries in Africa.
Meanwhile we will continue to develop our projects in Bosnia and Cameroon.
We are currently working on our new strategy which will be complete shortly.
