Our partners
Partnership working is vital to achieving better healthcare. We work with partner organisations to ensure that our projects are relevant to local health needs and are delivered in a way which will make a sustainable and long term difference to the health of pregnant mothers, newborns and children. We work towards achieving Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 and we are aware of each country's priorities for health care delivery.
Project partners
We form local partnerships with governments, health ministries and hospitals. We work through memorandums of understanding (MOU) to help develop closer partnerships.
ALSG (Advanced Life Support Group)
The collaboration between MCAI and ALSG began in 2001 with the aim of saving lives through the emergency care of mothers, babies and children. The objectives of the individual charities are:
MCAI: to protect and preserve good health and to provide relief to persons in any part of the world who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress as a result of extreme poverty.
ALSG: the preservation of life by providing training and education to the general public and in particular but not exclusively to doctors, nurses and other members of the medical profession, in life saving techniques.
