In response to the aftermath of the floods in Pakistan MCAI's in-country partners, CAI-Pakistan, have been providing Primary Health Care (PHC) services. The team has been invloved in setting up two medical camps in collaboration with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) in flood affected areas, Kalam & Madyan in Swat.
The medical camp in Kalam started on 15th September, 2010. As of now, the doctors and paramedical staff treated 3,500 approx patients and provided necessary medicines. Each day around 160-180 patients are being treated and cared for.
The medical camp in Madyan started on 29th September. At this camp 50 - 70 patients are being seen every day.
